Dig Safely New York To Present 811 Mod Lite Invitational On August 8 At The Brewerton Speedway; Qualifying Races At Brewerton And Fulton

BREWERTON, NY – JANUARY 23, 2014 (By Dave Medler) – In an exciting announcement in  recognition of National Dig Safely Day On August 8 , Dig Safely New York will present the Pro Race Cars ”811 Mod Lite Invitational” at the Brewerton Speedway.

How the program will work is as follows. The Brewerton and Fulton Speedway management will designate eight Pro Race Cars Mod Lite features (Six at Brewerton and two at Fulton) designated as qualifying events in the months of May, June and July. The qualifying events will be indicated on the track schedules when they are finalized.

Spots will go to the 8th and 11th place finishers in recognition of drivers who support both tracks but don’t generally finish in the top-five. The qualified drivers will receive a $50 NAPA gift card and automatically be locked into the invitational.

On August 8th qualified drivers will go to the luck of the draw on the front straight of the Brewerton Speedway to determine their starting spots for the 11-lap shootout. First place will pay $400, second $300 and third $111.

The 2014 Pro Race Cars Mod Lite Series will begin with the Brewerton Speedway opener on Friday, April 18 and will consist of 27 events between Brewerton and Fulton. The first Fulton event will be as a companion to the 100-lap Super DIRTcar Series event on April 26.

Tickets are now on sale for the July 23rd visit from the STP World Of Outlaws Sprint Car Tour at the Fulton Speedway. To make this event more special 2014 is being hailed as the “Salute To The King.” 2014 will be Steve Kinser’s final season on the tour. You can order tickets by visiting
