Why anyone still bothers to buy contact lenses through offline vision centers is beyond me. By going on the internet, you can quickly find great savings. Here are some ideas I use on a routine basis to secure some large savings:
- Comparison shop
This is not as big a hassle as you may think, because there are quite a few sites that allow you to compare costs, side by side. What better way to quickly find the store that is offering the best deal out there at any given moment?
- Search for coupons
This one might take a bit more time. What I like to do is bookmark some top coupon sites like Retailmenot and Savings.com. For a site that has just contact lens coupons, Visual Discount can be a splendid choice.
- But lots of contact lenses at once
I like to purchase at least a year’s supply. The reason for this is simple. On most sites, there is a sliding scale, and the more you buy, the lower your prices will be. I know I’ll use any given prescription for lenses for at least a year, so it behooves me to buy an entire year worth of contact lenses at once.
At the current time, one of my favorite stores is Just Lenses. You can view all the discounts available at Just lenses here.
